back again!

Well thats the new term well and truly up and running and pupils work and events will start appearing shortly. At the moment we have a couple of S6 Advanced Higher History pupils who will hopefully be taking part in a Holocaust educational trip to Poland in October and Mr Balcombe has recently taken Advanced Higher Geography pupils to Shetland.

Deep Sea Fishing - KGS Activities











A big thanks to the Welcome Home fishing boat and its crew, Mr Drever and Mr Shearer and all the pupils who made the sea fishing trip such a success. 9 different species of fish were caught. Commiserations to those who were sick!

Emily Farrer, Labour, 102 (21%)
David Fee, Scottish Socialists, 127 (26%)
Sarah Sutherland, Greens, 32 votes (7%)
Alex Thomson, Conservative, 56 (11%)
Matthew Wilkinson, Scottish Christian Party, 47 votes (10%)

Turnout 54%

S3 History "My Family History Investigation"

Here are some samples of the terrific work done in Mr Ewing's S3 Standard Grade Family History project. Many of the investigations were really well done and a huge amount of work had gone into them. Well done to everyone in the S3 class



1J Modern Studies Adopt a State homework




Mr Shearer's S1 Modern Studies class with their USA H/W. Pupils had to choose a state and then find out all the important facts about that state including any unusual laws. At the end each pupil had to present their findings to the whole class
